I produced this short video on the Guyana rainforest and the indigenous Amerindian people living there. It is important to educate the world about the beauty of people and place in the Amazon regions of South America. These ecosystems are threatened with destruction due to mining and deforestation. This is based on my visit to South America with my 14-yr old son and others committed to education and preservation of rainforest regions. If we lose the Amazon rainforest, this will displace tens of thousands of peaceful Indian people from their forest homes, force them into urban poverty within cities and destroy countless unique species dependent upon this ecosystem. Indeed, the entire world will suffer from the negative impacts as the Amazon forests are the lungs of our beloved Mother Earth.
