What excites you about the The Possible Futures Film Contest? What's the most provocative aspect for you?
Getting new and fresh ideas out there with new and fresh talent behind them excites me. Telling a visual story that allows for a greater understanding of universal themes that we all can take something from is a goal worthy of pursuing.
Where do you find inspiration? What (or who) gives you hope?
I find inspiration in many people, places, situations and ideas. I am humbled and proud to be in a position where I can create stories and visual representations of my ideas. Hopefully using these representations to foster productive and forward thinking.
How have stories shaped your life? What story does the world need to tell to shape a just and sustainable life?
I have been lucky enough to travel a large amount over my lifetime and one thing those opportunities have taught me is no matter where you live, we are all the same. From India to Oklahoma, we're humans as one. Every story I've been told about who we are and where we've come from shares a common bond: the human experience. This will never change so long as we are able to recognize and foster a healthy respect for our human identity and what it means to be the stewards of our planet.
