What excites you about the The Possible Futures Film Contest? What's the most provocative aspect for you?

This contest focuses on spreading hope; that the future of our world can be better! We can all make a difference! People have lost faith. Most think that they can’t do anything about this, and so give up. We all know that it can’t go on like this. We cannot continue destroying our nature, our animals and members of our human family. It is great that everyone is triggered to translate their ideas into visible pictures. Spreading inspiration to create a balanced, happy and loving world.

Where do you find inspiration? What (or who) gives you hope?

What is so interesting is that everyone finds inspiration in different things. The trick is to open up to all beautiful things around you. Focus on the positive things. That is the only key to improve our world. The people in this film all started with various ideas about making the world a better place, they believed it could happen and therefore it did. I think all ideas are able to transform the world. Therefore, as soon as I have an idea and I believe it’s possible, I feel I have no choice but to carry it out and realise it.

How have stories shaped your life? What story does the world need to tell to shape a just and sustainable life?

Everyone has a different story of his or her life. If you analyze your own life story you will see patterns. I believe we can all change our own patterns. We can change our own destiny. Therefore it is crucial for the world to communicate: your individual story is interlinked with the world’s story. Changing our own story for the better will in turn change our collective Global story.
