This film showcases some of the people and projects being run and initiated by Transition Town Worthing. The emphasis is on both visualising what a positive future might look like, and in getting 'hands-on' to create a future which is more localised, self-reliant and sustainable than the present.

From the Filmmaker

Transition Town Worthing (TTW) is a non-profit, grassroots organisation helping local people to respond creatively to energy descent by rebuilding community resilience in the face of resource depletion, climate change and economic recession. TTW is currently developing an Energy Descent Action Plan for Worthing which sets out a pathway for the town to prepare for a future which uses less fossil fuels by unleashing the collective genius of the local community.
