About me:
I started my career by joining my dad -- at an age of 17, as an assistant choreographer for various stage shows, Albums and films. After Completing my graduation in Mass Media (Advertising) I worked 6 years in Production House, and Broadcast Channels (Times ETNOW, CELL 18, CNBC TV 18, CNBC AWAAZ, ET NOW). These years were spent performing varied roles on different projects. Associate Producer, Post Production Supervisor, Editor, Copywriter, Animator, and VFX artist. Even as I fine-tuned my skills in animation and VFX, I never gave up my dream of wanting to create short films and PSAs.
What excites you about the The Possible Futures Film Contest? What's the most provocative aspect for you?
I always found myself working on PSAs & developing concepts based on global Warming, Animal Extinction, Gender Equality, etc... & have to work hard to dedicate much time for it. I work on weekends, late Nights to complete my films... & when I get to know about a platform to showcase my films, I get a reason to tell myself that I need to work harder to get my film at a level where people watch it & praise it...:) so the best thing about this contest is that it helps your passion work for you...
Where do you find inspiration? What (or who) gives you hope?
You come to my land...& you will find inspiration even in the smallest thing... Mumbai is a city which never let us sleep. & you end up observing lot of people, characters, places, behavior, happiness, sadness, courage... so I don't go out to find inspiration, inspiration finds us here...
How have stories shaped your life? What story does the world need to tell to shape a just and sustainable life?
